17th Coalition Theory Network Workshop
Paris, France, 3-4 February 2012

Centre d'Economie de la Sorbonne (CES, http://centredeconomiesorbonne.univ-paris1.fr/) of the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne will be organizing the 17th Coalition Theory Network Workshop (CTN17) in Paris, France, on February 3-4, 2012. We cordially invite you to attend CTN17. The Workshop will present the state of the art of theoretical, experimental and empirical research in: Coalition formation; Network formation; Matching, with particular focus on financial networks. This theme, being closely related to current economic problems, and consequently containing topics of importance, has not been emphasized in the previous CTN workshops.

The format of CTN17: we will have a two-day workshop with one session at a time (no parallel sessions), which will allow participants to follow all presentations of the meeting, and speakers to have time to introduce and present their recent work in detail.

Invited speakers:

Franklin ALLEN (University of Pennsylvania);
Rajiv VOHRA (Brown University);
Yves ZENOU (Stockholm University).

The workshop solicits papers in economics, in the field of coalition, network and matching theory. Papers on financial networks are particularly welcome. We also invite economists not affiliated with the CTN network to submit their papers. Please note that the workshop will have one session at a time (no parallel sessions), and consequently the number of speakers will be very limited.

Papers can only be submitted at ctn2012@univ-paris1.fr

Each participant may submit at most one paper.
The deadline for submissions is November 15, 2011. The submitters will be notified about the status of their submissions by December 12, 2011.

In CTN tradition speakers and other registered participants will not be required to pay a participation fee, but the number of participants will be limited.
Registration should be made at http://ces.univ-paris1.fr/CTN17/CTN-registration.htm.
