André de Palma is teaching at Ecole Normale Supérieure and at Ecole Polytechnque.
He is a senior member of Institut Universitaire de France.
He has published more than 160 articles in international Journals (Transportation Science, Econometrica, American Economic Review, Review of Economic Studies, RAND, etc.) and several books, including a classics in MIT Press, with Simon Anderson and Jacques Thisse.
He is the author of several softwares, including METROPOLIS, for the planning of large scale networks. He is managing several grants in transportation (with Stef Proost) and in the study of risk (with Nathalie Picard).

This activity is part of the ESS RESECON project, that has received funding from the European Community's Sixth Framework Programme, Marie Curie Actions - Human Resources and Mobility.
