Nostrum-DSS Meta-Guidelines

The Meta-Guidelines is a collection of projects outcomes and other material which have been developed to assist practitioners and policy makers by providing information and references for the development of enhanced IWRM plans, with specific focus on the use of DSS tools. The Meta-Guidelines are conceived as a 3D web based tool developed upon a series of layers in which products are displayed according to an increasing degree of detail and technical content (see the figure below). Briefs, guidelines, toolboxes, manuals, glossaries as well as links to existing DSS for IWRM are available through the Meta-Guidelines.

metaguidelines

The Nostrum-DSS Guidelines summarises and facilitates the access to the information contained in the web based tool. Therefore the document is structured on four main parts following the structure of the Meta-Guidelines:
Introduction; Actor and Problem Analysis; Policy/Decision Design; Policy/Decision Choice.
