Sectoral analysis of Dss in support of comprehensive planning (WP Leader: CEDARE), subdivided into three main research lines: water uses in agriculture; industrial water use and urban and tourist uses and engineering of the water cycle. This work-package aims at providing the necessary baseline information on the use (actual and potential) of Dss tools in decision making for IWRM in the partner countries. The outputs of this WP feed into, and support, the work carried out in other work-packages. Task leaders are responsible for compiling the sectoral analyses on the basis of the National Reports compiled by participating institutions under WP1. An outcome of this work-package is the first Thematic Workshop hosted by LRAE that is planned for October 2005. This Workshop should focus on the outputs reached through the work-package.

Expected Results: multi-sectoral approaches to the design, development and implementation of Dss tools in IWRM identified.
