This very pretty hotel was built on the ruins of an ancient Venetian convent located between the Rialto Bridge and the Church of Saints John and Paul. With its quiet location in a typical Venetian square, the hotel in the vicinity of the sixteenth-century Giovanni Crisostomo Theatre, today the Malibran Theatre, home of an important chamber season. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge with its quaint fish market, St. Mark’s Square, and the Church of Saints John and Paul, where the Doges were crowned and buried. In the immediate vicinity of the Hotel, guests can also admire the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, a precious renaissance gem. The monumental splendor of Saint Mark's Square is at a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Directions from Venice airport

Alilaguna shuttle service from the airport to St. Mark’s Square. From here, walk up Calle delle Mercerie, to Campo S.Zulian, Salizada S.Lio, Campo S.Maria Formosa into Campo Santa Marina, where the hotel is located. Take the number 82 vaporetto to Rialto. From Rialto walk to Campo S. Bartolomeo and turn left underneath the archway at Sotoportego de la Bissa (behind the statue of Goldoni). Continue along Calle della Bissa and after crossing the bridge, take the first street to your right, passing through Campo S. Lio and proceeding along Calle Carminati until the end. Here, turn right into Calle Malvasia and then the first left into Calle Frutariol which will take you into Campo Santa Marina where you will find your hotel.
