Short Description
Artigianelli Institute is a large complex composed of various buildings constructed between the 15th and 20th centuries. First a monastery, it was later transformed into an orphanage and a secondary school. Currently the complex is a guest house and congress centre. In order to realize this transformation within a historical complex, a careful conservation project of the oldest parts was carried out together with a structural consolidation and technological upgrading of the areas where new functions have been inserted. The 15th century spaces adjacent to the church are reserved to accommodate the Fathers whereas the 18th century parts will house a congress centre and a hotel. The latest wings of the complex are to become a students' hostel and a restaurant. It’s not possible to smoke in the rooms.
