Ariel Dinar is a Professor of Environmental Economics and Policy at the Dept. of Environmental Sciences and Director of the Water Science and Policy Center, University of California, Riverside. His teaching and research touches upon environmental economics, water and climate change. Sample relevant topics include: Assessment of Risk to Regional Agreements from Likely Climatic Change, Use of satellite data in management of international water. Recent publications (with others) in international water include: “Scarcity and Cooperation along International Rivers: An Empirical Assessment of Bilateral Treaties”; “Does precipitation and runoff variability affect treaty cooperation between states sharing international bilateral rivers?”; “Bridges over Water”.
