Faculty - 2012 Summer School
Shlomi Dinar is Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations at Florida International University. His research interests include, the nexus between international politics and freshwater (otherwise known as hydro-politics), environmental security, and international environmental politics. He is the author, co-author, and editor of three books including International Water Treaties: Negotiation and Cooperation along Transboundary Rivers (Routledge 2008), Bridges Over Water: Understanding Conflict, Negotiation, and Cooperation (World Scientific 2007), and Beyond Resource Wars: Scarcity, Environmental Degradation, and International Cooperation (MIT Press 2011). His articles have appeared in such outlets as International Studies Quarterly, Global Environmental Politics, International Negotiation, Political Geography, and Ecological Economic.
