Faculty - 2012 Summer School
Ines Dombrowsky holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Environmental Engineering and heads the Department ‘Environmental Policy and Natural Resources Management’ at the German Development Institute (DIE). Her research focuses water governance issues, with particular emphasis on transboundary water management and the institutionalization of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). Prior to joining the DIE in September 2010, she had appointments with the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ in Leipzig, Germany (2001-2010), the World Bank (1997-2001) and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ, 1995-1997) respectively. |
